Licking County Commissioner Tim Bubb Leading County Bicentennial Celebration

The debut of the County Bicentennial Float went 'very well' on Saturday of the Memorial Day weekend at the Old Fashioned Ice cream Festival in Utica.
Commissioner Doug Smith provided his Outville Hay and Grain Truck. It was decorated with Bicentennial Banners, a large rendition of the County Courthouse, and U-S and County Flags. Attached is a photo taken by Gaynel Kern.
A special ‘thanks’ to Pat Murphy for pushing the float project and registering the Bicentennial Unit for the Utica Parade.
Plans are underway to do several other parades this summer, including Alexandria, Johnstown and Hanover in June. We will have dates and times in the near future. The reception by parade goers in Utica was GREAT!
Thanks to those who rode the Float Saturday – Pictured are Commissioner Tim Bubb and Doug Smith (Smith drove the float). Riding were Jeff Chorpenning and Jenna Chorpenning of Girl Scout Troop #330, Mona Mason, Nola Rogers, Pat Murphy (arrived after photo taken) and Will Kern.
